One problem down (sort of)
Got another note, and mercifully I won't be moving out of Idelson. They didn't say my room won't change, although they didn't say it was a possibility either and I can think of even less reason for them to move me around the same dorm complex than to another one altogether. But my chances of keeping my (or even a) internet-enabled room are much better now.
The roommate likes (really likes) the West Wing and doesn't like Bush. She can't possibly be bad. :-)
I may have to take those extra two weeks of Hebrew if I want to pass into bet level, just cause they make you. That'd suck, but it shouldn't interfere with going to Egypt, so I might just suck it up. No point in sitting around in alef, even if it's high-level alef, if I don't have to.

I'm glad to hear about your dorm. Hope this decision sticks.
The pictures you posted of the views of Jerusalem from your school are spectacular. Your location is amazing. I'm sure the pictures don't do it justice, but it's nice to get an idea. The sky (smog) looks like home!! ;-}
Hi to your roommate from me. What's her name? Did you know that when I was little we lived in a big suburb of Detroit called Livonia? We moved to Pittsburgh when I was in the 3rd grade.
Optional school!?! That is a tough decision. You're there to study & learn, inside school & out. I'm sure you'll make the right decision. Love, Mom
