Rosh Hashana this week
So שנה טובה (shana tova - "happy new year," or literally "good year") to everyone.
I may actually have plans now for the four days in which a good half the city will be shut down. If all goes as I hope, I won't have to wait for Sinai to go diving. Anna, another girl and myself will go down to Eilat, the city on the southernmost tip of Israel and on the coast of the Red Sea. I checked out a friend's travel guide and found the name of what seems to be a better dive shop down there, which also has a convenient hostel for divers. This is the address to their website, if anyone wants to check it out. (Although probably only Dad is interested :-) )

I have a new favorite word in Hebrew: מלפפונים
melafafonim - cucumbers. :-)
