Qasr al-Bint, temple to, I think, the Nabatean equivalent of Aphrodite. I'm amazed that arch is still there after 2000 years of sandstorms and earthquakes.

Well, I'm back in the States, but I'm leaving this blog up for now, and possibly adding a little to it. Since I left Israel the news has been hopeful, but I hardly know what to expect next.
