The blue rooftops are the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. The tower to the left is a mosque some Muslim ruler built in the Christian Quarter, and I don't remember why.

Well, I'm back in the States, but I'm leaving this blog up for now, and possibly adding a little to it. Since I left Israel the news has been hopeful, but I hardly know what to expect next.
