The Dome of the Rock. According to Jewish tradition, the founding stone of the city is contained inside. According to Muslim tradition, Mohammad ascended into heaven from that spot.

Well, I'm back in the States, but I'm leaving this blog up for now, and possibly adding a little to it. Since I left Israel the news has been hopeful, but I hardly know what to expect next.
