Looks like I'll get to watch election returns on TV

What a treat. I thought I was going to have to periodically check the internet news in the wee hours of the morning here.

My prediction? It's going to be too close to call for a while and everyone on campus will be rushing to computers tomorrow and exchanging the latest news in between classes, since the main school hours for Nov. 3 here roughly equal to the end of Nov. 2 in the US.

I never got my absentee ballot, and finally attempted to use one of those emergency write-in ones yesterday, but eventually gave up. With the Israeli postal system being the way it is, it probably wouldn't have reached the US for a month anyway. I still feel like a bad citizen, though. I should've gotten on the ball faster when I realized there's no way my absentee ballot would be getting here in time. :(
