Class vs. real world

Nothing like a good trip to the grocery store and a tussle with the check-out lady to remind you you don't know Hebrew half as well as you think you do. Turns out the poor woman was only trying to give me a free box of tea, maybe I'd won some contest, I don't know, but for the life of me I couldn't figure out what this lady was talking about.

Maybe I should take it up with my teacher, but it's probably not her fault. What the Hebrew word for tea? Te. I swear the check-out lady didn't use it. Can't make it easy on the Hebrew-impaired, now. :)
